2024 Daily Photos // Days 295 - 301

21st October 2024
It's been over a month since we were at the wetlands!!
Far too long. But everything happens for a reason and today's sightings were worth the wait!
Finally, I got to photograph a little Willow Tit, we watched a family of rats feeding
and though Wader Lake seemed abandoned we still ended the visit with 23 species.

22nd October 2024
One of our 'Walk to the Hive' walks.

23rd October 2024
An impulse (but very cute) purchase.
And tonight's bubble bar was The Scream!

24th October 2024
One of those days...

25th October 2024
I've seen more Ladybirds this month, than I did all Summer!
I also completed what was meant to be my 2nd jigsaw of September,
but has ended up being my first of October...

26th October 2024
I hope this little Metapod survives the winter.
I also hope our most recent pigeon patient survives in general.
They appeared today and have an injury to the chest. We haven't admitted them into the
Hallow rehab but are keeping a close eye on them. They seem to be flying strongly, eating well
and have energy so I'm hoping for the best.

27th October 2024
10 of 12 10ks done...

Raindrops are always so lovely to photograph.

2024 Daily Photos // Days 281 - 287

7th October 2024
Sunrise in the back, Rainbow in the front!

8th October 2024
Finally got my dragon.

9th October 2024
The most special and thoughtful gift I have ever received.
Not because of what it is, but because of why my amazing husband chose it.

10th October 2024
Three gorgeous Mistle Thrush illuminated by the sunrise.
My front garden friends had a lovely time today too.

11th October 2024
We often get Sparrowhawks and Buzzards flying above where we live, however, the colouring and
size of this bird were so similar to an Osprey. Obviously, they are incredibly rare so it's highly unlikely.
We had some beautiful sun through the day too which ended in a lovely sunset.

12th October 2024
Turning 34 on Bookshop Day 2024 obviously called for a visit to Slightly Foxed when in Berwick!

13th October 2024
Dancing Skeleton bath time!
