How heartening it is to see shoots spring up from where they callously chopped down our Cherry Trees. They removed the stumps too but that doesn't seem to have stopped them from pushing on. I do hope they leave them alone to continue growing...
Our Sunflowers have also, finally, started to bloom, and the Hawthorn Berries are looking awesome!
A pair of suspected Mediterranean Flour Moths have made themselves at home in our back vestibule.. near where our bird food is stored...Uh oh!

That Jackdaw was exceptionally large for a Jackdaw!
So much so, upon sighting it from my bedroom window I ran downstairs to grab my camera sure it was a bird of prey. Then I zoomed in and saw a big beautiful Jackdaw!
The baby Black Backed Gull was enjoying the morning sun too, before a little sprinkle of rain blessed the ground. That brought out a Black Clock Beetle!
Then our afternoon solo visitor had a mosey around the garden. We've been keeping an eye on them for fear they were injured but they seem to be doing okay. While keeping watch I then spied a tiny little field mouse who promptly hide under a leaf while my camera stared at them.
