I guess I'm offically disabled now? I'm really struggling with that thought right now.
Take a photo every time it rains and I bet you you'll have far fewer photos than you'd think. 
I've heard so many people complain that we've had such a 'miserable'* year so far and it hasn't stopped raining,
 but I feel like I must live in an alternate universe because it really hasn't rained that much!
Just look at the garden a mere hour or so later! If you want life, we need water.

*that word is entirely subjective.

Pill Woodlouse and tiny brown mushrooms (ID help?), 
spotted amongst much more while in the garden today.

19th April 2026
Breakfast with the birds (and Baker) at our new outdoor dining set, 
a shot of my beautiful, bargain flowers and tonights crescent Moon cradled by the Pleiades stars.

20th April 2026
Date day in the front garden! Or so it would seem.
Though not photographed there were multiple pairs enjoying the facilities together haha.
There were House Sparrows, Dunnocks, Rock Doves (Pigeons), Wood Pigeons, 
and some Magpies who were talking away to each other so sweetly. 

21st April 2026
First proper time using my blue badge and we got the bravery to try a wheelchair trolly rather than piling a basket on my knee!

Earth Day looks a bit different this year, but I made the most of it.

Thank Mother Nature for skies like these.
Though not for the two dead Magpies I noticed later this day after a commotion between them that morning.

Our Oak, Maple and Laurel trees are waking up!
Little Mouse popped out this evening too!

11th April 2026
Wasp friend enjoying the new fence, an unfortunate Bee Mr H had to fish out of the bird bath 
(it was okay) and date night for the Wood Pigeons under the blossom tree.

12th April 2026
I am a Hoverfly whisperer! On multiple occasions now (I'm sure) this same Hoverfly has hovvered in front of me as if checking out what I am... On the first occassion, I lifted my hand and it landed straight on me! This same act has been repeated multiple times now and although I know it's probably just for warmth or because of the colours of my tattoos, I will keep believing it is my friend. 
A rainbow is always welcome also.

This was the only peaceful moment of what turned into an awful day.

The 6am sky and the 16.00 bath with Munching Bunny bath bomb.

Soaking in the blossom, as it has already started spreading it's confetti!
Appciating the quick, but intense, rain shower this evening too.
