2021 Project 365 // Days 78 - 84

19th March 2021
One of today's rainy day visitors to Restaurant Chez Hallow.

20th March 2021
Happy Spring Equinox!
We don't celebrate Easter (or any other religious holidays) but we do celebrate the seasons...
and nearly forgot about today with so much stress going on.
It was new tire day and that meant leaving the house, my first time out in a month.
At least I got to see my first Snowdrops of the year, yes my first,
and some daffodils not just from the car.

21st March 2021
Using up the last of our February bath bombs, ready for our big box of spring goodies,
that arrived from my parents the other day!

22nd March 2021
I'm running out of things to photograph.

23rd March 2021
Mr H had an extra-long shift today, so I used the extra time to bake some
Dark and White Chocolate, VEGAN, Soft, Chewy Cookies!

24th March 2021
Excited that the bush outside our kitchen window is starting to fill out again!
Our house is from the 50s and I think that back then people were more friendly, neighbourly and social.
This group of houses are built in a circle, I guess for a more communal feeling, with low walls and fences so there is no privacy out the front.
Also, being the end house of a row of four the other corner houses garden can see into our kitchen 🙄
Anyway, I mention all that because when this bush is full of life it blocks that terrible situation,
provides a beautiful green glow and we can see the little birds playing inside it!

25th March 2021
I didn't plan on this being my photo today, it was taken for our quarterly book haul, but my original daily photo plan got ruined.
In the second image, you can see a gorgeous piece of artwork someone lovingly made
and we took a detour on the way home from Mr H's work to go photograph it.
Sadly, it's gone already.

2021 Project 365 // Days 71 - 77

12th March 2021
6am view from our back window.
It's nice that the sun is awake when we get up in the morning now.

13th March 2021
It was Baker's bedroom on the schedule for a deep clean today and until we were putting everything back on the shelves etc,
I didn't quite realize how much of my Disney stuff had taken over his room.
Obviously, theres loads all over the house, but especially by his bed, it looks a little overpowering.
And to think my collection isn't anything compared to most!

14th March 2021
Why was the water not blue or green?!
I don't get why it was purple when it smelled like apples!

15th March 2021
Got to sit outside and read my book for a little while today.
It's nice to feel the sun and air on my skin.

16th March 2021
I get a pin to commemorate taking part in the RSPB big garden birdwatch each year.
This was my 7th year.
However, their eBay store closed and hasn't returned so I held off until the other day and decided to buy second hand.
(I'll offset it by a donation or purchase from their online store soon!)
Anyway. They arrived today.
The Sparrow for the little guys who've started visiting our garden recently.
Weird that such a common bird that I've had in abundance at my other homes is in such few numbers here.
And the Hen Harrier for the one we've passed surveying the A1 from a lamppost, in recent weeks.

17th March 2021
In May last year, we planted some Hawthorn in the front garden which will hopefully
grow to provide not only a little more privacy
but also a source of safety and food for some of our birdy pals.
They've made it through the winter and are budding up again.
Looking forward to comparing their size this May to last year.

18th March 2021
Our first couples census haha!

2021 Project 365 // Days 64 - 70

5th March 2021
I try not to include many, if any, food photos on this project but this is the only photo I took today. Homemade vegan broccoli pizza for an upcoming blog post - it was SO good.

6th March 2021
The beginning... 🌱

7th March 2021
A boring bath today. I think I've decided these are too greasy for my liking too!

8th March 2021
Baker came with me to pick up his Daddy from work today and did not wait patiently 😂
[Note: When driving, Baker is in the back seat and has a special seat belt.
He is safe. He just thinks it's brilliant when he's sat in Daddy's seat when we're parked.]

9th March 2021
The other week we moved a plant holder from the back to the front garden and repurposed it to another feeder.
The blackbird seems to be happy about it and once the bushes are in bloom
it'll give some extra cover for him and the smaller birds.

10th March 2021
Absolem finally arrived tonight after waiting allll day. An exciting recent addition to the collection.

11th March 2021
We don't only have to feed a dog, cats, guinea pigs, snakes and leopard geckos in our house...
we have to buy bird feed in bulk for all our garden visitors!
Alongside the seed mix, I also chop up fat balls to mix in with it for the feed trays
(especially in the colder months).
Let's see how long this box of 150 last...

Sunday 7 March 2021

2021 Project 365 // Days 57 - 63

26th February 2021
My little sun worshipers! What a life they have, if only all animals could have it the same.

27th February 2021
Starting on the garden work!

28th February 2021
One of the most colourful baths we've had in a while!

1st March 2021
When starting a new book not only coincides with the 1st of the month but also the start of a week - satisfying!
Been itching to get to this since I pre-ordered it.
It's sat on our shelf and I've waited patiently for the last couple of weeks while I finished what I was reading before finally cracking it open today!
Excited to see where the story goes...

2nd March 2021
Some days I struggle to find something to take a photo of for this daily project.
9 years of photographing every day of my life hasn't been easy, but even more so in this past year.
Obviously, I did cook and do housework today, so here's a photo of our new utensil holder I got in a recent Disney Store order.

3rd March 2021
Sadly, the closest I'll be getting to any wildlife this World Wildlife Day - my adopted pals from over the past few years.
Truly the biggest and only thing I miss from life before the world as we know it now is our hikes and nature exploring walks.
We didn't even have as many birds visit the feeders today or anything! 😔

4th March 2021
Happy World Book Day from Hela!
