2022 Project 365 // Days 232 - 238

20th August 2022
6am Sunrise?! The sun isn't up before us anymore, woohoo!

21st August 2022
This week's CP loves were the stunning, sweet and waiting patiently for furrever homes, Kat & Alfie, Pearl, Cameron, Barney, Katniss, and Wilma.

22nd August 2022
My Beevive keyring has come in handier than I even imagined.
This little guy had a huge fill, climbed on my hand to get warm for a bit, and then happily took off!

23rd August 2022
Welcome to the worst photo of a hedgehog ever taken.
I spotted this little love busing about our garden as I was doing my evening checks before going to bed,
so obviously, I spent the next little while watching them and finally decided to go out and try and get a quick photo.
It was pitch black with only one lone street lamp partially obscured by a tree for light.
So this photo is 100% purely a memory for me rather than a decipherable photograph!

24th August 2022
It's insane to think that this little man is TEN on Friday!
His daddy is only off work on Wednesdays and my parents were down for a hospital appointment, so today was the day he got to open his presents.
Baker loves presents and you can't mention the words 'Birthday' or 'Presents' without him getting excited!

25th August 2022
I feel awful for this spider because I've accidentally wrecked their hard-worked web twice!
They've got a new one completed by our waterbutt though, so they aren't easily deterred thankfully.

26th August 2022
Happy International Dog Day!
But more importantly, Happy 10th Birthday to my baby Baker ðŸ–¤

2022 Project 365 // Days 225 - 231

13th August 2022
First couple of passes on my new hand poked tattoo.
Letting it heal up and will give it another couple of goes over in the coming weeks.

14th August 2022
One of our Nasturtiums has peeked through the fence!

15th August 2022
This awful weather has scorched the majority of the plants, but I'm extra sad that the Hydrangea has had a short season this year.
Still, I love to see the little birds perching and playing in it.

16th August 2022
It would seem that Reepicheep has finally returned after the fire on the 17th of July.
I'm not 100% sure if it is her, but I hope so because the alternative isn't nice to think of.

17th August 2022
Actually getting an opportunity to sit and read in the car like old times today!

18th August 2022
I love to see sharing! And confident little birds <3

19th August 2022
Elderberries on the bush in our garden are ripening! I've been picking them off of the harder-to-reach places and scattering them with the other food for the birds and they've been loving it.

2022 Project 365 // Days 218 - 224

6th August 2022
Later this month is Baker's big birthday! The big 1-0.
This gift is probably more for me, but I wanted to get a special keepsake to commemorate.

7th August 2022
Dot, Mrs Norris, Marnie, Felix, Bear and Inky & Simba.

8th August 2022
International Cat Day came back around so quickly this year!
Maybe it's because my life is so full of cat love right now.
I'm not just lucky to get to volunteer as a desensitizer with Cats Protection, but I get to live with these two absolutely magical creatures.
Eos and Aurora have added so much to my life over the past 4 years and I cannot imagine life without them.

9th August 2022
Our first ever trip away together!
When our Disney honeymoon got cancelled in 2020 we booked to come here.
Then that trip got cancelled too...
In a last-minute turn of events, Mr H was getting 5 days off work this month and although we usually avoid leaving home at all during the Summer Holidays
(especially during a pandemic!), we decided to take the opportunity to take Baker away for an early birthday treat as he is turning 10 this month!
We had a quick stop at Bruce's Stone, Loch Trool, which commemorates King Robert’s victory over the English in 1307, on our way to our destination.
After finally arriving at our campsite near Stranraer, we had a quiet evening getting set up, having tea, watching all the wonderful wildlife (including a Hare!)
and enjoying the sunset from our pitch.

10th August 2022
A jam-packed day of exploring!
We had a later start (8am! A huge difference from the usual 6am) and was greeted by the sight of a lovely deer as we were getting ready for the morning.
We then headed down to Scotland's most Southernly Point, the Mull of Galloway,
had a swim in the sea Terally Bay Beach,
stopped by Kirkmadrine Chapel to see the 'Viking' stones,
paid a quick visit to Tor Of Craigoch and then retired to the tent for our last night.

11th August 2022
A long drive home meant for an early start.
We decided to take a quick detour to Dunsky Castle which we had missed the previous day
and was able to finally get the opportunity to photograph one of the many birds of prey we had spotted over our few days away.

12th August 2022
Back to reality.
The mist soon burnt off and was replaced with these stupidly uncomfortable temperatures.
