2021 Project 365 // Days 260 - 266

17th September 2021
When the only vegan take away around re-opens after like a month shut and
you sit in an hour of traffic on your 20min journey home, it's difficult to resist.

18th September 2021
One half of a pair of beautiful Robins that have been hanging around our house recently.
During an important phone call one sat on my back fence watching me through the window,
yesterday one hovered by the window looking right in at me and the pair of them have sung
their hearts out and foraged for food in the bushes by where my car is parked.
They make my day.

19th September 2021
'' You are about to discover what lies beyond the fifth dimension,
beyond the deepest, darkest corner of the imagination... ''

20th September 2021
I love the glittering dew on the grass in the morning!
Considering this morning was the coldest we've had recently (it was still 10° though), it turned into a beautiful day.

I also received yet another medal today...
It actually dropped through my letterbox while I was in the middle of a 7 mile run so that was fitting.
This is actually one I ended up missing earlier in Summer and as I have pretty much all the other Predator series medals I had to grab it.
I did do this half marathon last week, over 2 days because my arthritis is angry and my body can only cope with so many miles!

21st September 2021
Urgh! This little guy made watering the plants stressful this morning!
I thought I'd get a last photo of the greenhouse for the season too.
We still have Tomatoes, Cucumber and Peppers hanging on for now...

22nd September 2021
Happy Autumn Equinox ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿต️๐Ÿ
A beautiful welcome to the season full of wonderful birds, pretty skies and even the fox popped by in the early hours of today.
Hopefully, Mr Hoggle will pop by tonight too.

I'm so grateful for all this natural beauty I'm lucky to encounter from my doorstep and I hope
more people continue to open their eyes to the wonders of this world and take steps to protect it.

2021 Project 365 // Days 253 - 259

10th September 2021
Disney Halloween haul!
Overall super chuffed with what we were able to get, though obviously the range is never as good as the US and we did have some considerable damage as usual!
Also, no pin?! Looks like we'll have to fork out on eBay because it's something we want to collect
each year with our wedding anniversary being on Halloween...if I hadn't mentioned it ๐Ÿ˜‚๐ŸŽƒ

11th September 2021
Got a lot of good long standing jobs done today.
Sorted the wax odd box and got 7 new candles done in time for Octoberween, the greenhouse was cleaned
out with just the last few plants still standing strengthened and the wardrobe fully sorted through.
An early start to the great Autumn clean!

12th September 2021
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirates bath for me ☠️

13th September 2021
This sewing machine has got to be about 15 years old now!
Still does the job though. Got the boys some nice fleece/zorb pads made for their cages.

14th September 2021
On the 3rd of September, I completed my second half marathon of the year!
The medal (my 5th of the year so far) arrived yesterday.
You know some days I struggle to get one photo and then days like yesterday I had multiple options ha, so I'm sharing my medal today.
I ended up with a slower finish time compared to my previous half marathon due to my arthritis/other pains - but I did it!
These 13+ miles add to my current bigger distance challenge of 828 miles which spans the distance of the Ring Road in Iceland.
If you can spare a pound or two and would like to support an awesome animal rescue Vukjac Shelter please check out my fundraiser https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/daniellehallow828.
Thank you.

15th September 2021
One of the only Summer blooms still holding on in our gardens ๐ŸŒž

16th September 2021
We're back to the days of waking up in the dark again!
Photo 1 was taken around 6.35 as we left the house to drop Mr H at work.
Photo 2 was taken at 7.05am as I arrived back home. The sky moves fast!

2021 Project 365 // Days 246 - 252

3rd September 2021
Baker's new blanket he got for his birthday has been popular.
So much so even his sissies have been using his bed when he's in his bedroom!
It is a super soft blankey.

4th September 2021
A special post to mark both Wildlife Day and my 1000th post on this account!
We made a point at forcing ourselves out for a walk (I need to clarify for anyone who doesn't know us, it's due to anxiety etc I have to force myself out, I'd walk in the wild all the time if it wasn't for other human existence) and it was a great drizzly morning with barely anyone around...though it also meant super limited wildlife sightings haha, typical.

1000 posts here too. I can't believe in a few months I will be onto year 10 of Project 365 - so cool to look back on exact days from previous years, especially the past 3 with my forever family.

5th September 2021
Midnight Ball bath bomb this week, from Tales of Toria.
Check out the hidden Mickey it made!

6th September 2021
So happy this is finally done!

7th September 2021
Had a nice couple of days with Mam and Dad visiting.
They came to be there during my Autoglass appointment seeing as Mr H was working the only day I could book in.
Drove them home today and Baker and I had half an hour in the back garden before heading home.
All of Mams plants are still doing so well with plenty of bees, compared to our garden!

8th September 2021
One of my absolute favourite things is to watch birds have fun in birdbaths and puddles.
It makes me so happy to see them find so much joy in something most would deem as so simple.

9th September 2021
It's back to the time of year when we're getting up as the sun is waking too.

Sunday 5 September 2021

2021 Project 365 // Days 239 - 245

27th August 2021
A small handful of today's beautiful garden visitors.
It's strange that we haven't seen any Starlings, Blue Tits or Goldfinches for weeks!

28th August 2021
It sucked to get rid of the girl's cardboard castle that I'd worked so hard on and they have spent less time in the kitchen since it went too.
So we got them a little cat shelf to see how they liked it. It seems to be approved.

29th August 2021
Who knew Miss Minutes would smell so good!
We're already (well, we're always) ready for Halloween and the pumpkin scent was right up Halloween street!

30th August 2021
The Hydrangea has sadly had a short-lived season this year.
Although I do like the tie-dye look it gives before dying completely.

31st August 2021
This has got to be one of the best signatures in our little signed book collection.
How fitting it arrived while I'm currently reading The Slippery Slope.
Excited to get around to this one in the coming weeks.

1st September 2021
20 years of going back home to Hogwarts ๐Ÿฐ⚡

2nd September 2021
Climate change has the seasons well and truly messed up. I know I'm good at preening, deadheading and looking after the garden but these roses have never re-bloomed this late. The Hydrangea is gone but this has come back in force ๐Ÿคจ
