2022 Project 365 // Days 295 - 301

22nd October 2022
It's Geese season!

23rd October 2022
Today we did an Instagram Live to round out National Adoption Week and to highlight a couple of our beautiful black cats, Poppy and Nedjem, as National Black Cat Day approaches.
While on-site I also got to spend time with Fig, Zeva and Coco Belle!

24th October 2022
While putting out the bird food and freshening the bird baths this morning, I spotted a little speckled friend!
Then while working at the desk I noticed one on the back window that I had to go and remove as it was quickly approaching a big spider web.
Later in the afternoon as Baker and I were playing, the next Ladybug appeared and when I went out to take a photo I noticed he had a twin with him.
Four ladybugs in late October?!

25th October 2022
Although this is not my first year doing a wild lawn, it is the first time I've left it for Autumn/Winter.
I don't know why I thought it was a good idea to cut it down but I won't again!
We've had mushrooms pop up, which the wildlife have been eating it seems, and just look at all those other species of plants!

26th October 2022
My birthday gift from Mr H happened today!

27th October 2022
This lazy guy was having a good old morning feast while still laying down in one of the bird tables!

28th October 2022
Whenever it rains heavily, our water butt is a hub for the snail's meetings!

2022 Project 365 // Days 288 - 294

15th October 2022
One of my favorite things is just watching the birds have a nice big drink of clean water!

16th October 2022
In preparation for National Adoption Week I spent some extra time today getting lots of photos and videos of the wonderful Maxine and Billy,
stunning Nedjem, lovebug Sandy, shy little Alpine, friendly girl Aurora, beautiful Zeva, cutie-patootie Coco Belle, our precious Pearl and the magical Merlin.

Go check out all the rest of their photos and videos on our social media pages!

17th October 2022
11 days in and the new members of Hallow Manor are settling in well.
This is Nyx (Greek Goddess and personification of the night) and Calypso (Greek sea Goddess and daughter of Atlas).
They are Oranda Goldfish and bring our family to a total of 14!

18th October 2022
Finally using the new The Skeleton Dance glasses from the Disney Store!

19th October 2022
I've wanted a photo of the trees in this car park for weeks and finally brought my camera as we headed down that way today.
They've already changed again alot!

20th October 2022
My little darling Reepicheep was back again today, this time the first proper visitor to our bench swing bird feeder out the back.
She's so lovely!

21st October 2022
Our little sun-worshipping princess, Aurora.

2022 Project 365 // Days 281 - 287

8th October 2022
After about 2 years, I met up with my friend Laura and got to meet her little lad Buddie for the first time.
We booked a dog field and I got a good set of photos of him, then we popped down to Marsden for a quick dip in the sea too.
He can't be off the lead so I had to edit it out of his photos in the water but I like the overall outcome.

9th October 2022
It was quite the cuddly day at the adoption centre today!
I was lucky to get to spend some time with the wonderful Trouble, Oscar, Sandy, Pushkin, Maxine & Billy and Tyler, Bode & Gabe.
I had so many photos of the lovebug that is Trouble (his name is such a juxtaposition!) that I had to include two.

10th October 2022
Last night's Hunter's Moon was in its full glory at 6am this morning!

11th October 2022
Kicked the day off with a stunner of a sunrise and then had the pleasure of being visited by a beautiful little Coal Tit in the afternoon.

12th October 2022
Another birthday has come and another year has passed that I am not at Disney.
We started the morning by taking Baker to an agility field and when I say I haven't seen him act the way he did in years, it is no exaggeration
- Mr H said he has never seen him like it! He was in his element and ran far too much.
We had to tell him when he'd had enough because the old man still has a puppy brain and ends up sore and tired for the following days even just after a big walk.
In the afternoon Mr H and I took my parents over to Beamish and considering it's only been a month since we were there, Autumn has really taken hold!

13th October 2022
Getting photos for my 'What I Read Last Quarter' blog post with the help of Aurora.

14th October 2022
Two pigeon buddies have flown into the kitchen window this past week or so.
Poor guys get spooked when cars speed down the road...it is a 20 but no one seems to take notice.
