2021 Project 365 // Days 141 - 147

21st May 2021
Argo 🖤

22nd May 2021
Hit 70k miles today... That means I've done over 50k miles in under 3 years...ouch.

23rd May 2021
The last goodbye to Mr Dumpty, ready for our new haul to begin use.

24th May 2021
Our latest additions to the family, 2021 Pride Mickey and Minnie, are here!
They are much lovelier in person.
And now I have to find them a home next to the 2020 pair!

25th May 2021
I don't do video calls, but when I do they're all the way to South Africa.
The beautiful Amina kept me company while Mr H is on a 14+ hour shift.

26th May 2021
Super deep clean day for the girls' vivs and the first thing they both do when they
went back in was to climb up and down the same area in their respective homes 😂
(Hela in first photo, Freya in second.)

27th May 2021
Recent garden friends include fledgling Starlings practising their flying, a pair of Goldfinches,
many Pigeons (and Mr H's favourite brown one) and a tiny little Blue Tit amongst many more 🖤

2021 Project 365 // Days 134 -140

14th May 2021
Finished one and started another.
It has taken me about 3 months to complete the Thomas Kincade Snow White Jigsaw, however, I haven't had much time to work on it and ended up cranking out most of it the past few days.
That means I can finally start the double-sided Disney Cats and Dogs jigsaw!

15th May 2021
We love Dreamies in this house.
And we love brands who show their support for the LGBTQIA+ community!

16th May 2021
Poor Humpty...

17th May 2021
Another of our daily visitors. Well more like hourly...

18th May 2021
Let's just pretend the tripod shadow was intentional...
Repurposing my old favourite ever jeans into something new!

19th May 2021
Welcome to 'Igor', our newest adoption from Loved Before London!
We browse every week and this release day we spotted my Simbas twin!
Obviously, he had to come to join him and the Nala who we adopted back in December!
Simba has been with me for 29 years.
He's travelled far and been well-loved, which is evident when seeing him next to his younger-looking counterpart.
I mentioned this in the post where I shared Nala [24.12.20] but I have a form of Synaesthesia, Personification, and have for as long as I can remember.
It makes me super sad to think of a soft toy (or other items) being left alone or discarded etc so this company is an absolute light!
I love what they are doing and I'm happy that Simba, Nala and 'Igor' will be together now.

20th May 2021
They're magical because they're vegan!
And we get these Skittles every year so was excited that they're out again!

2021 Project 365 // Days 127 - 133

7th May 2021
Freshly made vegan sausage rolls 👌

8th May 2021
The first time on any beach in 314 days!
I grew up at this beach. I walked the dogs with my Granda, I searched rock pools with my Dad, I dipped my toes in the sea with my Mam.
I observed frog spawn in a pond nearby, breathed in the fresh sea air and had my love for the coast sparked here and all the other beaches in my home town.
We took a long overdue trip to surprise my parents and give Mam her retirement gift today, so while there we had to get to a beach...even if it was completely chucking it down!
It gave me a chance to hide some more of my painted stones too!
This night was the first time I have slept right the way through the night in years.
I personally think if you grow up on the coast, you'll always need the coast.
One day I'll be back.

9th May 2021
Isn't it ironic that our Humpty bath bomb arrived broken? Haha.
It saved me the heartbreak of cracking him open anyway.

10th May 2021
A lone daisy.

11th May 2021
We didn't have a lightning storm today.

12th May 2021
My parents have been redecorating my old room recently and got rid of my old bed.
The wood went to a family friend who is so creative and made it into things, including these bowls.
I don't know what to do with them but I wanted them not only because they were made from a bed I slept in most of my life, but because Simon puts so much love into his work.
I'm going to hopefully help him set up an Etsy or something at some point, what do you think?

13th May 2021
Some happy mail the past couple of days! My medal for completing Blue Cross Rescue Run arrived which makes my 3rd of the year so far.
If you can spare a couple £ and would like to support a fantastic cause, you can so on my fundraising pages > https://bluecross.enthuse.com/pf/daniellehallow!
We also ordered some of my favourite vegan chocolate, so it felt like a nice finish line reward haha! Hopefully, it will last a good month or two between us both...

2021 Project 365 // Days 120 - 126

30th April 2021
Mr H got a couple days off work for a change so headed out for a 6am walk
and to finally hide some of the stones I painted 6 months ago.
As always it's good to take in the sights, smells and sounds of mother nature.

1st May 2021
So many more species of birds have been coming to the feeders recently.
It makes me happy to see all of the tits and finches in such a residential area.
More lady bugs, bees and insects, in general, are around too!
Thank goodness for Spring.

2nd May 2021
Happy International Dawn Chorus Day!
Technically we celebrated on Friday when we were out early and in the woods.
However, today Mr H had work so listening from the doorstep at 6am was the best I could do.
Mr Coal Tit stopped by to celebrate too though which was nice.

3rd May 2021
Quick little 2-mile power walk in the pouring rain as I waited on Mr H finishing work.
Best time for me to get out because it was so quiet!

4th May 2021
Gross! I've never had oats or porridge but thought I'd do a basic soak of some with chocolate oat milk overnight to try.
I don't like the texture and they're too plain. Blurgh. Sticking to Cocoa Shreddies and Weetabix!

5th May 2021
Hades had fun in the bath today! He had a quick dip to help with a tiny bit of stuck shed.
Obviously, he doesn't do/need this often, it's actually the first time in this house and we've been here 2 years.

6th May 2021
I'm the person who, when experiencing this crazy 'four seasons in one day' type of weather, is most concerned about the survival of my plants.
