2026 Project 365 // Week 8

19th February 2026
My girl and her balloon!

20th February 2026
The stages of sunset. See videos here > Sunset Over The Rooftops & Sunset in 2 minutes (Sped up Time Lapse)

21st February 2026
The Primroses where we buried the Magpie we found at the side of the road are beautiful, just like the poor Magpie was.
We did some garden work this afternoon, and I noticed that the Apple blossom is in bud too!

22nd February 2025
Mr H's birthday! The Grandparents were down, so we had pet sitters for the day and took the opportunity to go on our first cinema trip since February 2020 and have a bite to eat.
On the way there, we stopped by Shibdon Pond to take our monthly portrait, the same place we took our very first monthly portrait together in January 2019.

23rd February 2026
Another jigsaw complete. That's 3 since getting the jigsaw easel. It's been such a huge help and makes it bearable to sit for an extended period of time to do a jigsaw.

24th February 2026
Had a little walk along the road to photograph the sea of Crocuses.
It's a little difficult to photograph without getting the big, ugly roads in, but it's cool to see in person.

25th February 2026
The first day of the year with washing on the line! Always a monumental day.
And I had to relocate a Woodlouse from the living room. The seasons are changing!
Aurora also enjoyed some cat grass.

2026 Project 365 // Week 7

12th February 2026
The first Crocuses!

13th February 2026
Walked to the postbox to post another card.

14th February 2026
The slightest dusting of snow greeted me this morning.
I stood outside for a good while watching the sun rise and listening to the birds.

15th February 2026
I understand that the intense rain has been inconvenient and overwhelming for some people, but driving to and from Berwick today and seeing the 'natural' wetlands that have formed across the county made me smile. Some were teaming with birds, others had none. One in particular had just one pair of Mallards <3

16th February 2026
It was a real mix of weather today - like '4 seasons in one day' kind of weather.

17th February 2026
I loved doing this one. Isn't it gorgeous?!

18th February 2026
The sky was beautiful today.
It was pretty windy, and the bigger birds were playing in the updrafts.

2026 Project 365 // Week 6

5th February 2026
My first medal of 2026! As I now have a diagnosis, I've accepted I can no longer do 10k's and, for now, can't really run either, but to have still been able to walk this 5k while waiting for surgery, I'm pretty proud.
I also photographed my January reads! You can read about them here > What I Read in January

6th February 2026
Writing a letter.

7th February 2026
Popped over to visit Laura's new place, and my pal fell asleep holding my hand.

8th February 2026
Secret Garden Bombshell bath!
Aurora is finally enjoying her new bed too <3

9th February 2026
Posting my letter!

10th February 2026
A week after planting...and we have life!

11th February 2026
18 species in (or flying over) the garden in such a short amount of time this morning made my day!
