19th September 2022
Think what you think, believe what you believe, this was a historical spectacle of insane proportions if ever I did see.
I didn't watch the funeral, because I don't understand wanting to 'attend' or observe such a solum affair unless it is a close friend or relative
and you absolutely have to, but I did tune in for a short moment during the procession.
It's literally the end of an era, it's a sad moment for those who have lost a family member yet it is also
a stark reminder of how far apart the worlds of the rich and poor are.
It seems things are only going to get worse for a while, but let's hope change comes soon.

20th September 2022
Did I even go to Berwick if I didn't get a photo of a bird and some water?

21st September 2022
There were lots of creepy crawlies in the garden today as we took apart the cold frame and started to get things ready for Autumn.

22nd September 2022
The first moon, and morning, of Autumn.

2022 Project 365 // Days 253 - 259

10th September 2022
Book mail! We may have missed our 2020 Honeymoon, and may not have got to be there for the 30th anniversary, but at least I managed to get my hands on The Art of Disneyland Paris book!
I also had a bit of a carry-on getting my hands on this other gorgeous book. I had pre-ordered via Waterstones, but publishing day came and went with no word from them despite my getting in touch multiple times. I then bought it on Amazon and a few days later saw a lovely little family-run bookshop had signed editions available and so had to grab that too! The difference it makes shopping small, look at that wonderful little package.

11th September 2022
I will always take my opportunity to snap our lovely little Reepi.

12th September 2022
This week would seem to be a book-heavy photo week!
I finished The Secret of Haven Point today and just had to pop down and get a photo of it at Marsden.
Marsden Bay and Rock are places that have featured a lot in my project 365 over the past 4 years,
so reading a book that was inspired by the area was surreal.
It's difficult to put into words how much I enjoyed this book. The disability representation, the language used (words I say that people look at me funny for ie. Spelk, are in a book?!) and the setting made the magic even more magical.
On the way home, we also stopped by Souter Lighthouse which was (I think) the inspiration for the lighthouse in the book. We still haven't been inside Souter, somewhere I've wanted to visit since I watched it on Most Haunted a whole 20 years ago now...maybe next year!

13th September 2022
Bathing birdies are so cute!

14th September 2022
Back to Beamish!
We haven't been since the end of June due to the Summer Holidays but had to get one last summertime visit in.

15th September 2022
Hit level 500 on Ring Fit today!
The times, miles and calories are off because it only counts 'moving time' within levels though I keep moving throughout my whole workout. According to my fitness app I've done over 575 miles in the past 12 months alone and I've been doing Ring Fit for over 18 months.

16th September 2022
My misunderstood, underappreciated and underrated pigeon pals are so intelligent and beautiful.

2022 Project 365 // Days 246 - 252

3rd September 2022
It's nice to see that the bugs are still able to enjoy the Nasturtiums as the season nears its end.

4th September 2022
Got and gave lots of love from and to the fantastic Barrett, Maxine & Billy and Will & Dustin today.

5th September 2022
Guess who's back, back again!
It's my little Reepicheep!

6th September 2022
This little guy clung to the window with all his might all day today. Properly weathering the storm.

7th September 2022
When we were on holiday last month, Baker and I got to swim in the sea together.
I wanted to experience it with Mr H too, so we got him kitted up and we popped along
to Cocklaw while up visiting my parents for our first swim together ever!
I tried to get a photo of us in the sea together, but we were too far away for the remote to work,
so our monthly portrait is us sitting in our dressing gowns afterwards instead.
The tide was insane, so we only got a little walk against the waves rather than a proper swim but it was still lovely.
Just like when we were at the Mull of Galloway, there were also Gannets diving just out past where we were stood too!

8th September 2022
It's a sad, historic day.
No matter what you think of our Royal family, they are a family.
People have lost a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and more.
I am not a Royalist, I don't celebrate jubilees or watch weddings etc, but it is somewhat cool to live in a country that has such a rich, historic system as a monarchy.
I think many forget that the royals themselves are not the ones who are inflicting such hard times upon us,
but the elected government and although their sickening wealth is an issue while people are living
in such extreme poverty now is not the time to be making hatred-filled comments.
The actual end of an era has come and it is very strange.

9th September 2022
This seems to be the week of raindrops-on-windows photos.
