2025 Project 365 // Week 33

13th August 2025
It's been a while since I've gotten to see the sunrise, but as the Summer moves towards its final stages, the Sun is waking up a little later. Just a little though. I was able to experience the sight of the sky steadily lightening because Mr Baker needed out at 5am this morning.
It was worth the early call to see Jupiter and Venus shining in the duskiness, hear the herring gulls calling and even get a peek of a lone bat.

14th August 2025
This little moss head makes me smile.

15th August 2025
Spider friends, the first of Nyx's wildflowers has bloomed,
and I love to see my pollinator baths being put to good use.

16th August 2025
Autumn signs over a month early!

17th August 2025
Early morning in the garden.

18th August 2025
Saying Goodbye to an old family friend, Jackie.
Some lovely bird visits once we were home, and we have some new caterpillars!

19th August 2025
Siraj bath bomb.

2025 Project 365 // Week 32

6th August 2025
My little pal is out and about again <3

7th August 2025
A brief moment of rain.

8th August 2025
Saying a very premature and sad Goodbye to Uncle Thomas.

9th August 2025
Finally squeezing in repainting the living room.
And some exciting moth sightings in the garden!

10th August 2025
Day 2 of decorating, and Baker has had enough.

11th August 2025
New sofa day! Our last sofa was a cheap two-seater I've had for over 10 years, with a broken foot making it tilt and lots of other signs of age. We feel spoiled having so much room to fully relax on this new one.

12th August 2025
We lost Calypso today. Just under 7 weeks since we lost her sister, Nyx.
They should have lived to be 15, especially considering the environment we provided for them. However, we have learned that these days they are bred to look a certain way (just like other species, such as dogs) with no regard to their long-term health.
She was given the same rights as all our other pets and was buried as her sister was.
Nyx's wildflowers are almost ready to bloom, reaching over to welcome her sissy.

2025 Project 365 // Week 31

30th July 2025
A FULL rainbow! Hopefully a sign of a new start, because this month has been awful!

31st July 2025
A gorgeous little Dunnock in the front garden.

1st August 2025
Lughnasadh!

2nd August 2025
I physically wasn't able to complete my July 10k until the 26th/27th of July, and ended up having to do it over two sessions. I know my mobility is declining and my days of 10ks are numbered, but I am determined to at least see out the year.

3rd August 2025
It may not be pretty, but our make-shift 'big bird' bird bath is popular at least!
The little birds were out in force, too, and then while reading in bed, the security camera showed me we had a visitor out the front, so I popped down to snap a quick photo and let them carry on their way.

4th August 2025
Sparrow's loafing is SO cute!
Liberation bath bomb tonight.
''75% of sales price will be donated to organisations that are advocating for trans rights, supporting the trans community, and uplifting trans voices.''

5th August 2025
July's reads.
