2022 Project 365 // Days 22 - 28

22nd January 2022
Working on some cat profiles and website updates today at CP.

23rd January 2022
Our first time back at Beamish in 6 months!
We've renewed our Friends of Beamish passes and are ready for plenty of walks with Baker this year.
It's great to get him out for a big walk without the anxiety of other dogs bothering him because all dogs are on leads at Beamish!
As always there's the odd rude person with an extra-long extendable lead that lets them approach him despite his bright yellow 'nervous' lead, but otherwise, it's great and he loves it.
Especially the horses who give him a kiss!

24th January 2022
Finally starting these! Had planned to start in back during Halloween season but better late than never.

25th January 2022
100th session on Ring Fit in just under a year. Hit level 400 on the last world of the extra levels!
Have run much further, burned many more calories and spent much more time on it than the game states as I keep moving between all the cut screens etc.
For example my workout today was 1hr25min burning 882cals, whereas the game time was 45minutes.
Still been a great purchase and fully recommend it!

26th January 2022
It was a mix of emotions at Cats Protection today.
I had some shy cats, some scared cats, some unpredictable cats and some very loving cats.
I had to say goodbye to four different furbabies who will be going to their new forever homes soon and who I will miss so much.
I'm gutted I forget to get a photo with Tiggy and hopefully I can get one last hug on Saturday if she hasn't gone home yet.

Anyway, the cats are Katie, Sophie, Stripe, Humbug, Gillan, Minnie (my little love bug who will be leaving), Alice and finally Mildred & George (who have completely stolen my heart and I've shed many a tear over because they feel like they were meant for me but we have a full house and I can't have them).

To see more photos of these cats and others please follow our centre's Instagram @cptynesideac.
I'm helping out with some social media etc and would love your support in helping these beauties find their forever homes. 🐈🖤

27th January 2022
The excitement when you can get washing on the line is tenfold when it's still January!

28th January 2022
Spent some time with the snakey babies today.
Not that I don't every day, but I had hugs and did cleanouts and took some up to date photos.
In order - Hades, Anubis and Athena 🐍🖤

2022 Project 365 // Days 15 - 21

15th January 2022
In contrast to Wednesday's CP visit, today was a lot less hands-on with many nervous or fearful cats.
They were Milo (who did actually like attention, strokes and kisses) and Star, Squeaky, Karamel and Bustopher, and Tobias.
I did get a chance to pop in for a hug and groom session with George and Mildred too!

16th January 2022
No weekly bath bomb baths this year but it doesn't mean we can't have any.
Black Rose from Lush today.

17th January 2022
Wow, it's taken 248 days to complete this jigsaw!
Obviously, that's not the actual amount of times I've worked on it, that was probably around 10 different work sessions because sadly I don't have time to puzzle every day.
This is definitely the most difficult puzzle I've ever done though. It may not look like it but with the oil painting style, muted colours, lack of textures and large areas of the same colour it was pretty frustrating up until it was maybe 3/4 of the way done.
Oh, it's double-sided too not two separate jigsaws, isn't that cool?
I'm excited to frame it now and get started on my next jigsaw which I actually had planned to do over October... 👻🏚️

18th January 2022
Last night/this morning's Full Wolf Moon.

19th January 2022
So many beautiful babies looking for homes right now!
Here are Minnie, Sausage, Geronimo, Dylan, Tamara, Florence and Delphi! 😻
I took lots of photos and videos today so keep an eye out at Cats Protection Tyneside on Instagram to see more of them!

20th January 2022
Took a 5-minute detour after picking up Mr H from work to take a quick snap of Penshaw Monument.
It was at that awkward time after sunset but before dark so it's a bit weird looking.

21st  January 2022
Golden hour shining a good glow on our crystal globes by the bed.

2022 Project 365 // Days 8 - 14

8th January 2022
Two days ago, I noticed one of the many pigeons in my garden had a broken wing.
It has taken me two days of worry and trying but I have finally got her safe.
Now the rehab begins. Her name is Rhea.

9th January 2022
A walk to the beach to visit the Fulmar.

10th January 2022
Mr. Mars has been poorly the last 24 hours.
He's been okay in himself and we had some cozy pocket hugs this evening.
Hopefully, he'll be feeling better ASAP.

11th January 2022
Surprisingly the first, of no doubt many, sunsets of 2022.

12th January 2022
My Wednesday models for this week were the beautiful, talkative, and very loving Tiggy, Eggy, and Mocha.
All three were difficult to photograph because they just wanted to hug and be stroked!

13th January 2022
Last year we backed a Norfolk Pins Kickstarter for these stunning Greek God/Goddess pins and they arrived yesterday!
All our pets (minus Baker, bless him) have various God and Goddess names so we had to have the Athena and Hades pins for two of our three snakes.
We had previously bought the Anubis pin for the third snake, meaning we only need Hela and Freya pins to round out our reptile baby's board!
Over the moon with how these pins turned out!

14th January 2022
Actually spent some time outside today. Cleaned out Rhea, painted some fence panels.
I was going to try and do '1000 hours outside' this year but giving myself yet another thing to track and count probably isn't best...so I'll just try and get outside as much as I can.
I also had to include another sunset photo, after only posting one a couple of days ago, because look at it!
The sky looked like a painting. That isn't a long exposure for the record.
