Early morning visit to RSPB Bempton Cliffs and a picnic at Cayton Bay on the way home.

I photographed this artwork a few years ago and had no idea what the building was.
Today I had an appointment with a private osteopath and it turns out this is the back of the practice!

We had some lovely couples in the garden today.
Namely, the Pigeon pair using the bird bath as a hot tub and the Goldfinches feasting on our wild patch!

The Raspberries are on their way, the water butt is getting good use
and our one Solitary Bee who used our bee house has left the building!
I love rain and watching the creatures who are out in it.
I helped the caterpillar from the waterfall that is the side of the water butt to a plant though.

Ring-necked Parakeets and Starlings feeding babies!
A morning spent bird watching from my garden for
Dawn Chorus Day yielded 18 species in 2 hours.
