2024 Daily Photos // Days 204 - 210

22nd July 2024
This was my last trip to the Wetlands until after the school holidays!
Mam came with me and we clocked 30 bird species.

23rd July 2024
I love these 'Circle of Colour' jigsaws by Ravensburger!

24th July 2024
The garden buggies are finally appearing!
We've also had a Butterfly lay their first clutch of the season (well, that we've spotted!).

25th July 2024
It seems as if all the Butterflies have appeared overnight!
I think this is a Large White Butterfly, but feel free to correct me
as I'm not great at insect etc identification.

26th July 2024
As I hung out the washing this Bird-cherry Ermine(?) stopped on a towel to say hello!

27th July 2024
I love how the raindrops collect on the Nasturtium leaves.

28th July 2024
I am going to miss my little pals when we move.
It's a privilege for me that they feel so comfortable in my garden.

2024 Daily Photos // Days 197 - 203

15th July 2024
Boo!

16th July 2024
Gave Argo's memory box a bit of a makeover.

17th July 2024
Freya had a climb on the washing screen, working up an appetite...not that she needs to!
Our foodie girl.

18th July 2024
Two beautiful baby Black-backed Gulls have been on the field out back.
Sadly, as the school had their last day the day before, there was a lot of rubbish.
The babies spent a long time chasing this piece of rubbish, playing tug of war with it
and generally trying to eat it. So sad.

19th July 2024
Provide the essentials, and they will come!!
This Sparrow family had so much fun playing and resting in our Hawthorn today.
The pigeons are daily visitors, however, if you look closely at the last photo you'll spot two Stock Doves!
They sadly didn't come into the garden, but were unexpected sightings nonetheless.

20th July 2024
Old little man with his treat toy!
(He was a rescue and so I am aware that his toes are deformed from mistreatment in his early life.
His nails are regularly cut and this is sadly the shape of his feet.)

21st July 2024
After a great deal of scouring the internet, I've come to the conclusion that the buggie that
hitched a ride on my hair from the front garden to the back is some sort of Leafhopper...
I dropped Mam and Dad off at home today too and took the time to check in with the baby birds.

2024 Daily Photos // Days 190 - 196

8th July 2024
Mam, Dad and I went to tidy up Grandma's grave today.
It is a lovely cemetery - so peaceful and removed from the city.

9th July 2024
A neighbour has been getting scaffolding and it seems this beauty has been disturbed.
We're trying not to encourage them and make sure no one sees them because people who don't
know any better would want them killed. How could anyone be so awful to that little face?!

10th July 2024
Another villanized species - I love seeing the Herring Gulls with their babies.

11th July 2024
Finally got these gorgeous prints from Ferne Creative framed and on the wall!

12th July 2024
A new addition to the Simba collection - I've had my eye on this Stieff Simba for
a while and decided he would be my treat for an upcoming appointment I'm nervous about.

13th July 2024
July's 10k medal is here!

14th July 2024
Rain on the Nasturtiums.

Wednesday 10 July 2024

2024 Daily Photos // Days 183 - 189

1st July 2024
Mammy's sleepy girl!

2nd July 2024
Completed (technically) June's second jigsaw today!

3rd July 2024
Keeping with the June theme, my medal for the 10k I did at the start of last month has finally arrived!

4th July 2024
So excited to get these snaps of this gorgeous little Wren today!

5th July 2024
Hela shows how I feel to have the 'second Tories' win a landslide...
I really thought that we had a good chance to secure a good amount of Green and Lib Dem seats.
Turning my upset into hope though, and officially joined the Green Party this morning.

6th July 2024
My bird loves <3

7th July 2024
Double Rainbow!
