Baker wasn't very well and so I was up from 5.20am.
I decided to make the most of it and although I'd missed the sunrise (4.20am) I got to listen to a
somewhat dawn chorus. Not only that but I finally got to photograph the Ring Necked Parakeets
a bit closer and not in flight, while they ate from the Cherry tree out front.
'How Many Tickles Does It Take To Make An Octopus Laugh?' bath to end the long day too.
Finally repurposed half of the broken pot we've hoarded into a bug home.
I can't believe you actually spotted Indian ring necks in the wild in England! How cool is that?!
ReplyDeleteI know, right?! Obviously there are huge colonies down South but I was shocked when we first saw the little group of 4 we have here. They 'live' about a mile away but because we have Cherry trees by us they've been stopping by! Incredibly lucky!
