2021 Project 365 // Days 106 - 112

16th April 2021
Now that it's warmer we can eat in the kitchen again!
Also, how the same meal can be 1700cal vs 769cal for weight gain and weight loss.

17th April 2021
First couple of Ladybugs of the year found while gardening this morning 🐞

18th April 2021
🌈🐇

19th April 2021
The lovely tree in our garden is finally coming back to life 🌸💮🌸

20th April 2021
You like to see baby clothes on the line, I like to see doggo toys!

(Don't worry this is only half. I swap them over every so often.
His toy box is stuff full, he has plenty to play with.
Zoom in to see his 'thumbs up'!)

🐹 (Also! The hutch is empty. I know it is far too small.
It is not used to house any animals,
only as a shelter for when the piggies are out playing in their run.)

21st April 2021
Yes, it is another sunrise.

22nd April 2021
Happy Earth Day 🌍
I was determined to get outside and actually enjoy Earth Day,
so I'm very thankful every else decided to stay away haha.
We were not disappointed by the vast array of wildlife spotted and that allowed me to photograph them.
It really did make my year so far.

Please don't let this day pass without a second thought.
Remember how lucky you are if you are able to experience our natural world regularly.
Make sure you do your what you can to treat it kindly and don't abuse our planet.
Spread the word of why we need to act to save the Earth - there is no 'Planet B'!

Every day is Earth Day.

2021 Project 365 // Days 99 - 105

9th April 2021
Mars and Aurora 🖤

10th April 2021
Day 100 of 2021!
252 days since I Iast went anywhere in public, today we popped to the farm shop.
I wasn't even out of the car for 5 minutes but it was a huge deal for me.
I chose some plants for the garden and literally ran back to the car to let my amazing husband pay etc.
It will probably be another 250+ days until I go out in public again, and I prefer it that way.
I hate what our world has become and despite being an anti-social, anxious loner
I did once enjoy visiting museums and places like my happy place, Disneyland.
I can't see a day now where I will ever be able to do those things again.
At least we got some flowers for the bees.

11th April 2021
Again, following last week, we have the final part of our Owl and the Pussycat bath bomb!

12th April 2021
Sometimes only 5 minutes, less than 10 meters away from the car is enough to get some much-needed animal/wildlife/nature therapy.
I saw a noticeable difference in the number of people around yesterday
so I'm hoping that now pubs, shops etc are open again all the people who have been crowding my
usual walking routes won't be there as much and I might get to enjoy being outside a little more.

13th April 2021
Re-potting new plants and listening to Mars munch the grass 🖤

14th April 2021
Its been a nice couple of days for deliveries! I hate to be materialistic, but I do enjoy stuff.
Especially spooky and Disney stuff.

15th April 2021
Spot the Great Tit!

2021 Project 365 // Days 92 - 98

2nd April 2021
Yet another generic 'sky from my window' photo.
Not enjoying how late it's staying light... It'll soon be still bright out once we're already in bed sleeping!

3rd April 2021
Baker upgraded to 12 buttons today.
At 8 and a half and having been with me since 6 weeks old (yes, young, there are reasons),
I have worked with him from day 1 and he's always been extremely intelligent.
He has known well over 100 words for many years, however, about 10 months ago we decided to get him some buttons to communicate his basic needs with us.
We aren't interested in having a room full of buttons for him to make full sentences,
we know he could, we literally just want his life to be as fulfilled and the least stressful it can be for him.
Right now the 12 buttons include, Play, Balloon (his favourite thing to play with), Yes,
Bed, Toilet, Settle, Sweetie (what we call treats), Dinner, Oops, Baker, Water and Help.
These are specific to his daily routine that he is always very set on and allow him to
let me know what he needs or wants, when he needs or wants to.
There are a couple of others that could perhaps be added, like 'No' and 'Hugs'but for now we
manage how we have all his life by body language, facial expressions and general intuition.

4th April 2021
Predictable per last weeks post. Today we have the Owl.

5th April 2021
Ne'er cast a cloot 'til Mays oot!

6th April 2021
I fill the feeders every morning, by clockwork, and the birds go in on them, but this afternoon I felt bad
because there were visitors sitting in the snow so I had to go fill them again.
This was taken during one of the sunny spells of today's snow/sun sporadic-ness.

7th April 2021
People wonder what I do all day as 'just a housewife' but in reality, I don't stop.
Between animals to take care of, feed and entertain and a house to run, clean and prepare food, I really find my days full.
So much so I haven't had the chance to do barely any of my jigsaw!
I started it at the start of February and this is only my 3rd time sitting down to work on it.
Mr H was on a super long workday today so I got to sit for 30mins to an hour to do some jigsaw-ing!

8th April 2021
I always buy animal-shaped things, but feel guilty using them 😂
Today I took photos for a 'Photo An Hour' day in my life type post for the other blog.
Taking the photos and noting down what I did each hour shows how much I do each day!
Don't be so quick to judge those who are 'only housewives'.
Just because I don't have kids to run after doesn't mean I do nothing!

2021 Project 365 // Days 85 - 91

26th March 2021
Afternoon glow on the boyo.

27th March 2021
First grass cut of the year...now just to get the seed to grow in all the patches.

28th March 2021
As cute as these kinds of bath bombs are, I can never justify the price point.
However, we were treated to a nice box of goodies from my parents!
Still, that does not mean I can justify the price... Haha!
So to get the most out of this we will be using these as 3 separate bath bombs.
Just a lone boat for today.

29th March 2021
I feel like the only person who does not like when the clocks change.
Going to bed at 8/9pm I prefer dark evenings and light mornings.
The fact the moon was still out this morning when we got up is not cool.

30th March 2021
Love birds watching the sunrise 🐦💞

31st March 2021
On Sunday the 28th I did my first ever Half Marathon in one session.
My medal arrived today - so fast!
Admittedly the medal is for a 20k but for the sake of a mile or so I just carried on to get the Half Marathon.
Not a great finish time in the grand scheme of things but as someone who is not a runner, has arthritis, asthma and goodness knows what else I am happy with 4 odd hours.
Obviously, I still can't go out and I don't have a treadmill, so like my 90 mile Hadrians Wall challenge, this was also completed on my mini rebounder.
Second medal of the year, and not the last.
My 4th or 5th in the Predator Series overall!

1st April 2021
38 days since I last got to 'breathe' fresh air (through my mask)!
The last few days I've been really feeling down about how so many people, who are still going out and doing everyday things,
are moaning about their freedom being taken away and they are so sick of lockdowns...
Meanwhile I can't even safely go for a walk, get petrol in my car without stress or even get a proper food shop.
When I arrived to pick Mr H up from work today it was a lot quieter than usual so I got up the
courage to get out for a quick glance at the world of wildlife and nature that I miss so much.
While I had the chance.
Things are only going to get worse for me in terms of being able to get out now that
the weather is improving and people think they are invincible/don't care about others.
