2023 Daily Photos // Days 43 - 49

12th February 2023
Smokey Joe was having a bit of a hard time after a vet visit so we just sat and read The Lord of the Rings for a while.
Michael gave me lots of lovely gentle hugs and kissies, and although it doesn't look like it
Bonkers Donkers & Fizzy Fifi had lots of playtime and cuddles too!

13th February 2023
Usually, I take multiple shots to get a photo but with this one, once I'd taken it the sun had moved and so I had to make do with this one shot.
I've meant to get a photo of this lush art print from Ellis Woolley Illustration for a while
and the way the sun shone in the window today gave me the opportunity.

14th February 2023
My anxiety has been through the roof lately because tomorrow I have a hospital appointment.
I've only said it a million times, but the sea is so healing to me and so I was lucky enough to be able to go for a walk in the sea at Whitburn Beach today.
There weren't many birds around and of course, rockpools aren't the wildlife treasure troves they were when I was a kid,
but we did meet a few special creatures on our adventure.

15th February 2023
My Dad has been getting into the lino kit we got him recently and while I waiting to leave for my appointment I helped him print his first two!

16th February 2023
After helping Dad I wanted to crack out my lino-cutting stuff and do another,
so to go with my Raven that I did in January I made a wolf.

17th February 2023
Misty morning and rainbow cleaning supplies!

18th February 2023
My gorgeous sleepy boyo cosy on the sofa while the poor pigeons sit in the rain waiting for more food...as if I haven't already fed them today!

2023 Daily Photos // Days 36 - 42

5th February 2023
My wonderful cat therapists today were Caramel Tibshelf, Thomas, Michael, Marco, Buttons and Earl Summers!
It was also the Snow Moon tonight. Luckily it didn't bring in actual snow.

6th February 2023
Crazy sunset.

7th February 2023
Another photo of the sky because apparently, I didn't take any other photos today.

8th February 2023
Second jigsaw of the year complete! This one was so much fun and probably one of my favorite jigsaws ever to be honest.
It was easy enough to not be frustrating but not so easy as to be boring. It has crazy shaped pieces meaning it's one of the first times
I've not been able to fully complete the whole edge before starting the rest but it also meant that the futher on I got,
there was only a small choice of places for the piceces to go.

I also decided to pop into Cats Protection to spend an hour or so with Thomas.
Little did I know it would be the last time I'd get to see him as he's going to a foster home tomorrow.
I can't believe how far he's come in the 4/5 weeks I've known him and I hope he gets the purrfect home asap.

9th February 2023
Exciting book mail today!
I have a hospital appointment coming up and I'm really struggling with my anxiety so book retail therapy it is.
The Stickleback Catchers was a pre-order that just so happened to land at the right time too!

10th February 2023
A couple love birds in our birdbath this afternoon!

11th February 2023
Crocuses that popped up earlier this week are one of many of the signs that life is returning in the gardens.
And of course, another sky photo because apparently, that's all I've done this week.

2023 Daily Photos // Days 29 - 35

29th January 2023
Today's loves were Mr McHenry, Thomas, Theadore, Patch and Buttons.
Mr McHenry is another little lad whos had a tough time and so he and Thomas had 45 minutes of love from me.
Though both in very different ways.
Thomas and I read another few chapters of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz while Mr McHenry had lots of headbumps and strokes.

30th January 2023
Yawning Argo showing off his wet chin because he's drinking from a bowl
until we get him a new bottle and his hair is too long.

31st January 2023
Baker and his new little lion toy we brought him back from Ikea.

1st February 2023
Baker and I took Daddy on the walk we've been doing recently.
Although Mr H and I have been to St Paul's together many times before, Baker had never been until
a couple of days ago on our walk, so I had to take the camera and get some photos of him there today.

2nd February 2023
Our gorgeous Calypso and Nyx have gotten big recently! They've been with us 5 months now!
And look at the pretty rainbow their light through the edge of the water/tank makes on the floor.

3rd February 2023
The Blue Tits and Great Tits have been properly checking out and fighting over the birdhouses recently.
Fingers crossed we get some takers!
My medal for my 100 miles in January challenge arrived today too!
Go check out Farplace Animal Rescue and support them in any way you can. Farplace Animal Rescue

4th February 2023
Gold Rabbit!
I managed to get my hands on this beautiful bath bomb to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit!
Funnily, it almost matches the pumpkin I carved at New Year - see it here.
