What would have been 74 days to go until our Honeymoon. 

Instead we're packing away the countdown board. Oh well!

We almost forgot our monthly portraits so we had to quickly grab a couple this afternoon. 

I don't really like going in the front garden because the houses are in a circle and they look in that way.

 But I love my wildflower lawn so I sucked up the anxiety of being seen for a super quick 5 minutes.

Our first day back at Beamish Open Air Museum. 

A quick visit today, only for an hours walk and to pick up our Friends of Beamish passes but it was nice to be back.

And my first time out in 4 months but the last for a long time because it was the most horrendous experience.

It's been 6 months since I made our last batch and there's still plenty wax to use up.

The problem with buying animal-shaped products is I feel bad for them and don't want to use them.

When we moved in the decking in the back garden had been there a while and hadn't even been treated, let alone stained. 

We bought stain to do the fence and decking not clicking that obviously it wouldn't be durable enough for use on the decking. 

A few months later and it already looks awful so I've repainted it with the same stain to hopefully make it last until we can afford to get specific decking stain!

My boy actually played with me today, if only for 10 minutes. 

He rarely plays with me these days, only his Daddy or both of us when it's our evening piggy in the middle game!
