23rd May 2023
Sleepy girls.
We also buried a little fledgling Sparrow that we named Jack, who had sadly flown into our window.

Having some outdoor time with the grass under his feet, fresh air to breathe and listening to the birds singing.
We also popped down to check on the Ringed Plover, who we are part of
a volunteer conservation project for. It was very positive findings for them.
(There were lots of Sanderlings too!)

Luckey enough to spend time with the wonderful Cosette & Monsieur Lemur,
Tulip, Ladybug, Izzie and Georgie Boy today.
I didn't know it at the time but this would be our last day together and our last photos.
Argo has been slowing down over the past week or so and we knew the end was coming,
just not so soon.
We had hugs, he snuggled in his sleeping bag and he managed a few tiny bites of a strawberry.
What a joy it has been to be his Mammy.
During the day I also caught a bee in the act of finally using our bee house.
Later in the day, we saw it fully closed up.
