We've taken a couples portrait every month since January 2019 and this is the first that hasn't been somewhere cool.
Also, Aurora wanted on the window sill in the sun so much that she sat in the plant pot.

 We maybe get take away food or eat out a maximum of 5 times a year, literally.
Mr H has been working so incredibly hard though and I talked him into treating himself.
Our Pizza Hut has finally started to stock the vegan menu so we grabbed one of the deals...and then ended up with even more food because they had messed up our order.
Two days worth of food for the price of 1! Yes!

22nd March 2020
Mr H's only day off has come around again and we spent a lot of it in the garden with the piggies.
We dug a flower bed ready to plant new bushes, prepared the ground in the other bed for wild flowers,
cut the grass and saved another bee (without injuring my back this time ha).

My Lush order arrived!
And our lovely post lady gave a wave through the window then left it on the doorstep - social distancing & not disturbing the dog pro!

Our lifeline just now.
I'm dropping off and picking up J from work (in an NHS building, so yes it's essential) every day to avoid all public transport etc.
Then today I did a 140mile round journey, on top of that usual hour round drive, just to pick up my inhaler.
I'm high risk and more than happy to continue my 10+ year long social distancing/isolation.
So get the heck in your houses you selfish, ignorant idiots.
I'm sick of humanity ruining everything now.

First time this year sitting out in the garden reading.
All the housework was done and so the waiting game is on for Dad coming out of surgery.

The books we ordered for our World Book Day treats arrived yesterday and so today we weeded out one of the bookcases,
reorganized shelves and got sorted with some work for our book blog.

We finally got the time to finish our jigsaw!!
According to my daily photos we started it on March 10th 2019...
to be fair though we've only got it out to work on it maybe half a dozen times.

Free courses are amazing. 

I love to learn but generic education systems stress me out so being able to expand my knowledge on my terms, without the pressure of costs, is brilliant.
Thank you PDSA! I can't wait for the Pet First Aid course I signed up for in a couple months.

I miss when a certain website was free for all courses and you only paid for the certificate...😏

Our latest baby. Athena is number 10 of The Hallow Family (or 12 if you include Mr H and I).
She's a rescue Columbian Boa and this is her first feature in our daily photos adventure.

I've never liked weekends. I never really worked a job that meant weekends were free.
But currently Mr H's only day off is a Sunday so that is our only proper day together.
We did bits we needed to do around the house, played with the animals, watched a show and read.
I look forward to him getting another day off.

Among the pigeons and magpies that usually frequent our garden, the smaller garden birds have been getting more confident,
straying from the little bushes and coming right to the main feeder!

Last night while playing, Bakers tooth got caught and snapped Mr H's ring where it had been resized. ☹
So today I went to buy a replacement and was able to get the exact same ring again. The lady said they won't be getting them in again and it was the last one.
So glad to have been able to get it!

Using our Roar! bath bomb treat from Lush. I went and stocked up on a couple of bits and had a really lovely chat with the girl at the till.
That's rare for me because my anxiety doesn't like talking to anyone outside of my immediate family/pets to be honest haha.
We chatted about pets, all ours with their godly names and that her partner is named Odin!
She was so lovely and that interaction made my day.

5 birds in 1 photo, two of which are Song Thrush! There were 3 of them total, more than I've ever seen in one go.
It's a good sign for their species! On top of that I also spotted multiple Water Pipits (my first time seeing any), coal tits, blue tits and a Robin!

The lighter mornings are coming now and it's getting to the point where the sunrise beats me by the time I get home from dropping Mr H at work.
Caught this colourful display this morning though. Happy World Wildlife Day 🐦
