Perks of having a chef husband. Vegan junk food in bulk 😂
We actually don't really eat a lot of meat substitutes etc,
these are the main things I do like and this should last a good while.

So excited about my new organizer/portfolio and the 80th-anniversary pin
from the Disney Stores Fantasia range.
Since they became 'Shop Disney' standards have slipped a lot,
with quality being poor for many items.
This however is gorgeous!

The world's craziest partially sighted, hard of hearing guinea pig there ever was.
He moves so fast he's just a blur!
(Can you tell the cats like to go in the gap behind the sofa too?!)

Freya was asleep while Hela posed yesterday so when she popped her head out today
I had to grab the camera. She even gave us a wink!

I photographed the Beaver Moon the other night but decided to use the photo of Freya instead.
However, it was still extremely big and bright tonight, so I took another.
Without any other object in the photo, it's hard to gauge the actual size of it though.

I've had these stones from the beach for months and months so finally decided to sit down and paint some.
 Looking forward to finishing them all and eventually being able to hide them in the woods (in probably 5 years time).
A couple will get painted over once I'm all done because they didn't turn out as expected.

Finally saying goodbye to the green bathroom.
The people who lived here previously had insane taste in interiors.

I'm pretty sure this is one of the first times I've ever seen Sparrows in my garden since living here.
It's shocking considering they're such a common bird.
I never care how common or rare a bird is, I get the same amount of enjoyment
out of watching them have fun.

11th November 2020
On the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month.
Please remember the animals who had no choice that they went to war.

Over 16 million animals served in the First World War alone.
My purple poppy is in honour of those horses, donkeys, mules,
camels, dogs, cats, pigeons, canaries, bears, monkeys, lions
and more who died while being used for work, as pets, mascots etc
during those extremely scary, dangerous times.

I'm trying my hardest to have diversity in my photos for the 8th year of Project 365 (366) but some days are just impossible when every day is the same.
I get as much nature and wildlife in as possible but my choices are limited unless it's in my garden or from the car outside Mr H's work.
It's the only thing I miss and makes me jealous every single day of people who can go for walks.
 Instead today I lay on my living room floor staring at the ceiling and enjoyed the pattern our Edison style bulb made when shining through the 1950s glass shade (original to the house).

The very last of Baker's Halloween balloons granny sent him is now gone...
He only has 2 of our usual biodegradable ones left too, uh oh!

This guy looked so calm enjoying the sunset.
It makes me sad to think of how scared him, all the other wildlife, livestock, pets, elderly people, those with PTSD
and more were tonight when selfish, irresponsible humans played with explosives.
It makes me wonder if those 'celebrating' this day actually know the history behind it?
Surely the majority of the general public, who seem to hate our government, would have been in support of Guy Fawkes...
It's weird to me that they burn an effigy of him and celebrate the failed attempt to bring down the establishment?
I guess it's just like Christmas and no one actually knows why they are 'celebrating'
and just do it in sheep-like fashion.

It's the sad time of year where all the trees are bare.
I didn't even get the opportunity to photograph much of the autumnalness
and it's disappeared way sooner than last year.

Beautiful little Dunnock foraging for his dinner yesterday.
So thankful I can still enjoy watching the birds even if it has to be
behind the windows of my car or house.

I may not sell my wildlife photography calendars anymore,
but I still put together a personalised one for both my parents and us.
Can you remember my calendars?
I miss doing them but everywhere put their printing costs up and even when buying in bulk
I'd have to sell them at £15(!!) to make a profit. Boo.

2020 Project 366 // Days 302 - 308

28th October 2020
Last week we caught an extra exciting visitor on the cameras and they pop by again last night! 

(We miss Hoggle so much after an irresponsible person ran him over so this was so cool.) 

So to celebrate we ordering an RSPB to represent it on our pin banner. 

I also ordered the Peregrine Falcon after our sighting this month too. 

The pins arrived today and look great!

1 year married! Halloween in the Hallow household is extra special 🦇🎃👻

Goodnight Halloween.
So special to have such a rare Halloween blue moon on our 1st anniversary.
The first for 76 years and last Halloween full moon for another 19 years.
Mars was also visible by the eye even if I could get it on camera.

2nd November 2020
The field and trees outside our back garden have boasted a large population of what I assumed
were Song Thrushes for the duration we have lived here.
It's actually very weird to see a group of up to 10 thrushes together in one place
considering their red status, but lovely all the same.
Anyway, I realized when getting a better look at this guy today that I'm pretty sure they are
actually Mistle Thrushes. Beautiful!

I'm not a fan of the short winter days where the sun has a lie-in and an early night making life dark.
But I at least get to see the sunsets before I go to bed.
