2020 Project 366 // Days 22 - 28

22nd January 2020
We we're over in Gateshead for a meeting so took the opportunity to visit all our old pals at Saltwell Park.
The birds and squirrels were out in force to greet us and it was a lovely, much needed walk.

23rd January 2020
We're 23 days into the year and it's been a non-stop roller coaster. This is the first day we've had in over a month of being able to do not much at all.
Neither of us had to leave the house, we played with the animals and watched movies.

25th January 2020
Back to the early mornings with my hardworking husband. I love walking him to the metro
(now they are running again and I'm not driving him to work) and then watching the sun come up as I get home.

26th January 2020
Mam and I needed a couple of bits from the Metrocentre today and also picked up an extra couple of bits that we didn't 100% need.
Like a signed book and a Koala soap whose profits go to help out in Australia.

27th January 2020
This is pretty much my 8th year of taking part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch and they
definitely know when it's on because barely any of them turn up compared to my usual visitors.

28th January 2020
Day 3 of Dad's second stay in hospital this year. :(

29th January 2020
It's still freezing but the sun is shining so my little sun worshiper is bathing in it!

Back Through the Lens - Week 4

Welcome back to my new series 'Back Through the Lens'. Click here to see week 1 and read all about what is going on.
The short explanation is that 2020 is my 8th year of documenting my life through photos and so I'm looking back at this exact week over the past 7 years to compare them! This is week 4.

2013 - 27th January
You'd never know that this was on a normal row of houses, just along the street from mine when I lived it Blyth.
It had had a fire and apparently just been boarded up and left since.

2014 - Week 4 January
Milkshakes at Stateside with Mam turned into a mini-tradition when I lived in Newcastle and she'd come to visit me.

2015 - 24th January
In last weeks post my 2018 photo was from Mam and I's trip to see Robin Hood!
This photo is from the last time Nana came with us and we took her in her wheelchair.

2016 - 22nd January
Nana couldn't go to the pantos anymore despite being a lifelong member/helper of the SVG, so we got seats upstairs for the first time!
Mam wasn't a fan of the ever so slight height though ha!

2017 - 26th January
The amount of bird photos, especially mallard ones, that I took in my time of lived down the West End in Berwick is silly.
I loved my little birdy pals and I love how you can see the two male's heads under the water!

2018 - 27th January
Putting together and shipping out one of our charity parcels.
Mam and I liked to send a box of goodies to different causes over the years and this year it was art supplies for a woman's centre in Manchester.

2019 - 22nd January
Poor little Baker really went through it from May 2018 and especially at the start of 2019 when I was living between two places. He looks so fed up here.

2020 Project 366 // Days 15 - 21

15th January 2020
It's already been 5 days since we booked our super special, extra exciting, Honeymoon / 30th Birthday / 1st Wedding Anniversary /
1st holiday abroad together trip … and it's exactly 270 days until we go!

16th January 2020
Our first little adventure of the year saw us venture out to a rather cold Marsden Bay.
I can't believe we've lived here about 7 months already, this is just down the road from us and it was our first visit there.
The beautiful Fulmars were definitely a highlight!

17th January 2020
Sautéing the leeks for our leek and potato soup!

18th January 2020
Was lucky enough to have a special friend be able to sign a special document for me today.

19th January 2020
Good morning from Mr Starling!

20th January 2020
The usual trip up to Berwick is always fast paced, meaning not much time to get any photos,
but the main thing was I got to see Dad for the first time since he got out of hospital.

21st January 2020
There's a ladybug living on our Castor Oil plant.

Back Through the Lens - Week 3

Welcome back to my new series 'Back Through the Lens'. Click here to see week 1 and read all about what is going on.
The short explanation is that 2020 is my 8th year of documenting my life through photos and so I'm looking back at this exact week over the past 7 years to compare them! This is week 3.

2013 - 17th January
This was actually taken at a tiny lake behind a sort of business/industrial estate type of thing while I was on a lunch break from a course.

2014 - Week 3 January
One of only very few trips to this beach because of Baker's anxiety.
Cold, foggy days keep most people away though so we were able to have fun. That isn't even his ball either.

2015 - 20th January
I miss the Disney Movie Rewards scheme!
I earned so many free DVDs and loved seeing this sight at my front door.

2016 - 21st January
It was so cold that even the seaweed got covered in frost!

2017 - 16th January
Nothing beats the classics.

2018 - 17th January
Mam and I went to see Robin Hood in Panto at the Maltings.
It seems we missed going in 2017 and 2018 would be our last visit.

2019 - 18th January
Another event, although this time pretty different!
I'd been to Circus of Horrors before but it was Mr H's first time and it was brilliant.
