Back Through the Lens - Week 52

This is the very last week, week 52!

2013 - 30th December
I cannot tell you where this is or why I was there.
I assume it was on my way to or from work?

2014 - Week 52
We used to take new yearly family portraits every year and at this point
both Bunny and Nike were gone :(


2015 - 29th December 
Baker with one of his favorite people, his Granda, out for a walk in the Tweed at low tide.

2016 - 29th December
Otters!!! I still can't believe we were lucky enough to have this otter family living in our river.

2017 - 31st December
Finishing a book on the last day of the year is very satisfying.

2018 - End of Series
This was a crazy year for me and sadly I gave up taking daily photos 5 days into June.
It was an eventful year and I really regret not carrying it on.

2019 - 25th December
Such a fun walk in the woods. Look at that beautiful tree!!

2013 - 26th December
My little genius pal Bunny, such a miss.


2014 - Week 51
One of the best places to take a walk.


2015 - 20th December
Finally framing my Hogwarts acceptance letter,
along with my photos from our recent trip to the WB Studio Tour.


2016 - 17th December
I love that the local churches do this,
hopefully reminding people what the holiday is actually about.

2017 - 21st December
Look at these cuties!
Without sounding redundant, I really miss where I used to live.

2018 - End of Series
This was a crazy year for me and sadly I gave up taking daily photos 5 days into June.
It was an eventful year and I really regret not carrying it on.

2015 - 15th December
Mam's birthday night at The Lion King!
As much as I hate London, you can't avoid it if you want to do some things.

2016 - 12th December
Seeing Fantastic Beasts with Mam at our local (tiny) cinema, 
that doesn't even usually get current movies.

2017 - 10th December
I can't tell you how much I miss this view.
Even in the winter.

2018 - End of Series

2019 - 13th December

2013 - 17th December 
Is there ever a better view?!


2014 - Week 49
The warmest headwear and they've been missing for a year or two now!
I want my Chip and Dale earmuffs back.


2015 - 6th December
I guess it's almost time to re-watch Potter.
Especially as Mr H has just finished his first read through.


2016 - 2nd December
So bittersweet to see this photo.
I am absolutely gutted for all at Buffalo Bills now that it is closed forever.
I'm also gutted that we didn't get our Honeymoon as we were booked for this
and Mr H will never get to enjoy the show.


2017 - 9th December
Read, read, reading.


2018 - End of Series

2013 - 13th December 
Seeing Frozen for the first time, back when I used to go to the cinema once a month or so.

2014 - Week 48
Probably one of the very last times I had a Christmas tree up.
It seemed hypocritical to celebrate a holiday from a religion I am not a part of!

2015 - 26th November 
Another beautiful sunrise over the River Tweed!
More so than ever recently, I've been missing my home town.

2016 - 29th November 
How I miss Disneyland!
Even in the winter when my toes were blocks of ice and the sun set earlier.

2017 - 2nd December

Just another pretty sky from my bedroom window, overlooking the Royal Border Bridge.

2018 -  End of Series

2019 - 2nd December 

A Goshawk decided to take his dinner from our garden.
Sadly it wasn't the food that we put out for the birds, but one of those who came by to eat.
It's always sad to see stuff like this, but also very interesting from a nature-loving point
of view. It is the circle of life after all.

2013 - 6th December
Baker having a sneaky peek at his brother Bunny. Bunny had his own bedroom and would come out to play around the whole house multiple times a day, but Baker was scared of him and would only come near if his bedroom door was closed!

2014 - Week 47

It's homemade soup time of year.

I hope we don't get this type of weather any time soon...or at all if possible!
