2020 Project 366 // Days 50 - 56

19th February 2020
Mr Noobie is on a bit of a diet because he's gotten some rolls, so he's extra interested whenever I enter the room lately.
I do my pet rounds multiple times a day and this little face just got me today.

20th February 2020
Pizza Hut treat with the Husband.

21st February 2020
Getting lots of housework and reading done on these long lonely days.

22nd February 2020
🐟🦀🐠🐡🦈

23rd February 2020
How have we lived here for 8 months and only just realized that there is a hidden nature reserve 5 minutes drive away..?

24th February 2020
No, snow, no!

25th February 2020
More DIYs, making a pin board that matches the one in the reptile room for our furry bubbas.

Back Through the Lens - Week 8

Welcome back to my new series 'Back Through the Lens'. Click here to see week 1 and read all about what is going on.
The short explanation is that 2020 is my 8th year of documenting my life through photos and so I'm looking back at this exact week over the past 7 years to compare them! This is week 8.

2013 - 27th February
Northumberlandia in all her glory. I'd really like to go back soon and see how much the landscape has changed.

2014 - Week 8 February
Always a favourite place to visit, Beamish!

2015 - 20th February
I don't think I'll ever tire of photographing or just looking at views like this and pretty birds.
Most mornings after I finished work I'd have a walk along the river with my camera instead of going straight home...
where I didn't always want to be in 2015.

2016 - 22nd February
Two new additions to my Disney cabinet were my antique posable foam Mickey and Donald.
It seems I've only had them 4 years and as much as I love them, I think I'm going to try and find them a new home now.

2017 - 21st February
A book with a map inside is always going to be a good book.

2018 - 23rd February
Mam and I had a lovely little breakfast catch up with Marion at Lowery's on the quayside.

2019 - 22nd February
The first of a few trips to Alnwick Gardens in 2019, this time for Mr H's birthday.

2020 Project 366 // Days 43 - 49

12th February 2020
J decorated the Reptile Room today! Bye orange wall! Hello jungle green!
I didn't want another photo of paint so instead here's a shot of the little board I put together with our current reptile inhabitants on.
I'll hopefully share n image of the completed room in a month or two!

13th February 2020
Today's sunrise matched the sky in the Phantom Manor print in our toilet pretty well.

14th February 2020
I've lost count of the amount of times I've driven over that bridge in the last year or so.
This isn't a view I usually get of it.

15th February 2020
It's been 15 years since making curtains was part of my day job.
Nothing like these ones though. Running up a 'quick', rustic, hand sewn curtain for the Reptile Room makeover.

16th February 2020
Feeling a bit blue lately and not even a couple spoons of vegan B&Js could help.

17th February 2020
We finally got to reunite Nana and Granda today. Together again, at rest finally.

18th February 2020
I just posted a 'Back Through the Lens' post on the blog with a photo from 2013 of a Thrush and said how I wished I saw them more...
then today this beauty was right across from our house.

Back Through the Lens - Week 7

Welcome back to my new series 'Back Through the Lens'. Click here to see week 1 and read all about what is going on.
The short explanation is that 2020 is my 8th year of documenting my life through photos and so I'm looking back at this exact week over the past 7 years to compare them! This is week 7.

2013 - 16th February
If my memory serves me right, this was taken in Ridley Park, Blyth while Baker and I were on one of our walks.
It's a stunning Song Thrush and I wish I got to see these more!

2014 - Week 7 February
File Missing!
This will happen periodically during this series where photos have been deleted due to personal reasons, or a photo has not been taken in the first place.

2015 - 16th February
Aww my little pigeon pal! While walking home from town one day, I spotted a baby pigeon cowered in a door way covered in blue spray paint.
It had obviously been done on purpose and I couldn't leave it so whipped off my coat and scooped him up.
Luckily I still had an indoor rabbit cage and was able to make him comfy in there with some water etc until the wildlife rescue were able to collect him as
I had no idea how to clean him. I later got word that he had recovered and been released with some other pigeons, yay!

2016 - 17th February
A trip to the National Railway Museum in York!

2017 - 15th February
Just a poser Baker having a walk along the river.

2018 - 17th February
This was the day Mam and Dad joined me for part of my 20k hike for Born Free.
As we passed this look out, the people inside called down to us and invited us up for a little tour!

2019 - 14th February
We'd had our tattoos a few day at this point, but the meaning of the rune is fitting for the day
(even if we don't celebrate commercial holidays).

2020 Project 366 // Days 36 - 42

5th February 2020
Nothing like a gumtree bargain. Also find it hilarious that they prefer a cheap second hand buy,
empty boxes and reusable shoppers than actual toys and beds we buy for them!

6th February 2020
The council actually did something worthwhile and planted 5 new trees out back from us.
There's always been a lot of birds by our house, considering the location, but hopefully this will only bring more.

7th February 2020
We're slowly but surely making our way through the rooms of the house and getting the crazy colours transformed into more 'us' colours.
Like who has a green toilet?! We love the colour green, but not for bathrooms...!

8th February 2020
Mam and I went into Gateshead to see the Knife Angel in person while it visits The Sage during it's tour.
It is made of over 100,000 seized blades to raise awareness of knife crime in the UK.
Click here to visit the website and learn all about it.

9th February 2020
More DIY. Just a heads up though from future owners of your property - please do not just keep painting layers of gloss on top of each other.
This window sill, at this stage had paint stripper applied and scraped 5 times...it still needs done again!

10th February 2020
took the bird feeder stand out of the garden in preparation for the apparent 'Storm Ciara'.
Anyway, the birds had all been looking for their breakfast so I had to just throw a load of seed all over the garden for them!

11th February 2020
We went to see Dolittle tonight with our Vodafone 2 for £7 tickets!
Apart from being stuck in a tiny screen where ever single person had decided to fill the back 2 rows,
bringing full on picnics and being noisy, ants in their pants, germ spreading 'animals' that caused me to have an anxiety attack and
have to climb over seats to get some space...it was a good movie!
